Your Irish Domains Control Panel is located at https://cp.irishdomains.com. Login using the username & password you set up when registering with Irish Domains or as subsequently provided. You can also access your Control Panel from the main site menu above. Select "Client Login" and then "Control Panel Login" The Control Panel login offers a "Forgot Password" option. Click on this link to have your access details automatically resent to you. ;If you experience continued problems, contact Irish Domains Support Department (See Support in menu above). Create the email accountTo create a new email account:-
To create a new email address, select the "Add New E-mail Address" button and complete the form as required. Full configuration details are available on our support site.
Setting up on your local computerDepending on the Email software you're going to use, the location and exact terms required for setting up your email will vary from product to product. However, the main pieces of information required will be the same. These are displayed on the main Email page within your Control Panel. (See Create Email Account tab)
Full configuration details are available on our support site. Setup details for Common Email Programs: Your FTP information is available within your Control Panel. You can change the Nameservers on any of your registered domains through your Control Panel.
Note: For .ie domains, the domain MUST be configured on the new nameservers before making the changes above. Login to your Control Panel at https://cp.irishdomains.com/ with your Irish Domains username and password.

Depending on the parking or hosting package that is running on your domain, the Qmail Mail Service may be installed on the domain. If Qmail is installed, it must be removed before new MX records are added to the domain.
To check if Qmail is installed. Login to your Control Panel and navigate to the Domain Administration area:-

Inserting new MX records Within the Domains Administration Area, select the "DNS" tab Select "DNS Records" from the sub-menu below
Adding a New A record If your MX record requires a new local A record to be set up (i.e. the MX hostname is a new sub-domain on the same domain, then a new A record should be set up as follows:
Your new MX records are now set up.
Login to your Control Panel and navigate to the Domain Administration area:-
Under the “Summary” tab, the domain current setup details will be displayed. In the “Web Hosting” section of this page, click on “remove hosting” to remove the parking hosting. With this removed, you can now set up new DNS records as required. To repoint your domain’s WWW record at a new Address record (IP Address) or CNAME record (hostname), select the “DNS” tab and “DNS Records” link beneath.
Note: DNS changes may take up to 3 hours to fully propagate.
