What exactly is changing ?

Before 21st March any person or business registering a .ie domain name has to prove a connection to Ireland, provide evidence of identity, and provide a good reason why they should be allowed register the name (the "claim").

From 21st March the claim will no longer be required so all an applicant will need to do is prove who they are and their connection to Ireland.
